PDO 2017 Workshop with MINESEC and YES Program in Buea.

This day was marked by the presence of, Mr Ebone Paul Tiku (The Technical Adviser n1 from the Ministry of the Secondary Education), the US Embassy Gerald Chilla, Mbua Hannah Etonde (the principal of Bilingual Grammar School Molyko Buea), Margaret Bibum (Buea School for the deaf), Leke Philip (the principal of Inter comprehensive college), Nkeng Julienne (Summerset Bilingual School Molyko), Sylvie Bantar and Stephane Talla the Journalist from CRTV Buea; Paul Enone the Cameraman also from CRTV Buea; YES´18 Parents, Invitees and YES Staff. The activities started with a welcome speech and a brief presentation of the YES program by François Donfack the National Coordinator. He also does and expose on the Challenge and way forward. Thereafter, there was a speech by Mr Ebome Paul Tiku (The Technical Adviser n1 at the Ministry of the Secondary Education expressing the joy of the Ministry of Secondary Education), he thanked the Coordinator François and staff for the great job they did and encourage the YES´18 Finalists in their choice of becoming cultural ambassador for, they will have to represent Cameroon in the US. He particularly talked about Family life in USA, US laws and implications for exchange student. The US Embassy Gerald Chilla also expressed the joy of the US Embassy each year to see some Cameroonians benefit from the scholarship offered by the YES program. Also, he urged the Finalists to become ambassadors of Cameroon in their respective host communities in the US.
